About

The History and Values of Airtronics Inc.

We Are Above The Industry Standard

Airtronics Inc’s main business operation is an FAA part 145 repair station known as Airtronics Avionics. In 1983 R&B Airtronics of Oxnard, CA was acquired by James M Lewis and then renamed in short, Airtronics.  In June 2009, James D Lewis, son of James M assumed the operations and incorporated as Airtronics Inc, a Wyoming corporation. Since Oxnard in 1983, Airtronics Inc has grown its award-winning operation with dealers and partners covering the western united states, and the Asia Pacific. The Airtronics is a total cockpit solution product designed and built by pilots for pilots with every type of flying mission.

Airtronics cockpits are designed by in-house aviation architects with many hours of flying different missions. Airtronics architects develop solutions with careful consideration to the client’s flying skill, style, mission, and budget.

Avionics manufacturers must satisfy Airtronics stringent requirements to be eligible as equipment included in The Airtronics Cockpit. The Airtronics Approved Manufacturers List is composed of manufacturer’s that have a tenure (proven track record) of financial stability, dedication to the industry, workmanship, reliability, an aggressive research and development team, advanced in technology, simplicity of use, flight safety, and a warranty program to back it all up. Every Airtronics cockpit is delivered to the client with a lifetime workmanship warranty. Sure, nothing lasts forever. However, when the instructions for continued airworthiness are complied with, the workmanship is expected to last a lifetime. Please visit our warranty page for further details about The Airtronics Lifetime Workmanship Warranty. Manufacturer pricing is always something for consideration too. However, the Airtronics requirement is for the best value. Typically, the best value is not the least expensive product.

Airtronics Inc main operations were located to Colorado Air and Space Port in May 2018, with Airtronics Avionics authorized partners located in Southern California and North/Central California. Since 1983 Airtronics tenure includes work performed on more than 20% of the general aviation aircraft still flying today. Airtronics strives to make itself easily accessible to its clients. Please visit our locations pages to find an Airtronics affiliate and dealer nearest to you.

Although we are known as “The Airtronics” branded on every cockpit, we are also known as the technicians that have the capabilities to repair and overhaul what others can’t. Airtronics Avionics comprises skilled technicians in all categories of avionics including electronic and analog flight instrumentation, autopilot systems, communications, navigation, radar, storm scope, traffic avoidance, and advisory, and transponder. The Airtronics is known as the last hope for anything Narco or ARC! Most are shocked to find out we still have H14, and Lear autopilot test and repair capabilities. Look no further as Airtronics services the robust KX170 series com/nav, and KCS55 heading system. The Airtronics Avionics lab at Colorado Air and Space Port managed by the man, James M Lewis is the most capable repair facility for legacy avionics in the world today. Airtronics is home of the No Repair / No Charge policy. Why pay others to try and fix it when Airtronics only charges if they fix it. Visit our lab page for full capabilities and to obtain an RMA for your equipment evaluation.

As you visit our web pages we encourage you to talk with your fellow pilots, then give our sales or technical department a call or email and you will see why Airtronics Avionics is the cockpit solution for your next mission.
